WatchSloppy Seconds held its premier on the 6th and we cant thank everyone who showed up enough for making it quite a successful premier at that! Loads of good tunes spun by a decent DJ (Jim) however its the tune select’ahs (Danny, Zack, and Drew) that really made it possible along with their mastery in logistics for making this event happen.

Chaunceys Surf-bout/ Fresh Sticks
i hope your not tired of hearing it yet. but the kcoast team guys/girls continued their wrecking of the esa and i’m siked to say that in a upcoming post we will have final results from the 2010 Chaunceys Surfbout on 30th St. in OCMD. Thanks to Chauncey, Blair, Bianca, Zac, and the whole Chaunceys crew along with the ESA for putting on a sick event that everyone looks forward to each year....

SETH AND NOAH GET UGLY MUGS PUT ON BACKDROP →
as i mentioned a few posts ago…KCOAST SURF TEAM MEMBERS Seth and Noah Conboy made the trek up to New Jersey to compete in Heritage Surf Shop’s Gromtest presented by Quicksilver. For making the finals, they were awarded with some sweet prizes and getting their ugly mugs put on the homepage. check it out at heritagesurf.com with the link above. congrats boys…and sorry to the rest...
TEAM KCOAST ESA MURDAAAAAAA
the team is killing it. Lee and the boys at Malibus threw their annual summer classic and i’m proud to say the boys (and girls as well) represented themselves in classic form. Little guy Simon won the menehune shortboard along with Sam Deeley winning junior mens and Brad Flora winning boys. Maybe i have that backwards? Watchhurt again and awaiting surgery, i was forced to find some footage of those awho are putting their nose to the grinder and getting it done hunting down some hurricane surf with the first of the season with hurricane alex. alek parker and cory lopez do work and grind it out in the gulf and hunt down some not quite epic but super fun looking wedges. good work boys and glad to see the hunt continues....

i didnt catch a single wave on international surf day. but i did re-discover surfing through a quick swim to a short jump to a deep dive and through observing a child experience what i everyday for the very first time.
i am in the ocean everyday. but this isnt the great barrier reef. its sand and some rocks and i can usually touch the bottom or at least can feel its presence but i don’t...
